Jenny Robinson
Jenny Robinson (born in the United Kingdom) is a San Francisco–associated printmaker and visual artist known for her large-scale drypoints and works on paper that explore architectural structures, urban decay, and the transience of the built environment. She earned a BFA in printmaking in England and, after living and working in San Francisco for many years, became a respected resident artist at Kala Art Institute and exhibited widely across the U.S. and internationally; her work is included in major collections such as the Library of Congress Graphic Arts Collection and the Achenbach Foundation for Graphic Arts. Robinson has received numerous awards, including the Mario Avati Gravure Laureate Award from the Académie des Beaux-Arts in Paris, and has taught printmaking at institutions in California and abroad.
