maker → steward → curator

Simon Blattner is an independent curator, printmaker, and publisher whose curatorial work centers on craft, handmade paper, and the book arts. Though not a curator by formal training, he turned to curating as a new creative path when he was no longer physically able to make handmade paper. Through exhibitions, he continues to express his deep appreciation for materiality, process, and the tactile language of art, craft, paper, and artist books.
