Thomas Wojak
Thomas Wojak is a California-based master printmaker, artist, educator, and founder of The W.O.R.K.S, a screen printing studio he established in San Francisco in 1972 that produces fine-art screen printed editions for artists, designers, museums, and technology firms. His own work—print and mixed media pieces that explore memory and autobiography by “creating a present from the fragments of the past”—has been exhibited locally, nationally, and internationally. Wojak taught printmedia for nearly 30 years at California College of the Arts and is Professor Emeritus of Printmedia, and his prints have been recognized by organizations including the San Francisco Art Directors Guild and the New York Art Directors Association.
