Mario Teleri Biason is a prominent Italian artist, educator, and curator based in Rome, best known for his mastery of printmaking and drawing. He developed his craft through the traditional Italian "bottega" apprenticeship system, notably serving as an assistant to the influential artist Piero Dorazio. Biason has dedicated much of his career to the preservation and promotion of graphic arts, directing the Il Quadrato di Omega studio in Rome and producing documentaries on printmaking for RAI Italian Television. His technical expertise has also made him a respected academic, having taught at institutions such as Temple University Rome.
