Kim Anno

Kim Anno is a Los Angeles–born painter, photographer, and film/video artist whose interdisciplinary work connects abstraction with environmental themes, especially climate change, water, and adaptation. A 2024 Guggenheim Fellow, she has exhibited and screened work internationally, and her art is held in major collections including SFMOMA, the Berkeley Art Museum, the Brooklyn Museum, and the Crocker Art Museum. The recipient of numerous awards and fellowships, she has taught at California College of the Arts since 1996 and creates collaborative, multimedia installations and documentary film projects.
